Sound Insulation Testing
Falcon Energy offer customers a complete sound insulation testing service that is in-line and fully compliant with the ANC accredited standards for the Building Regulations Document E 'Resistance to the Passage of Sound'.
Sound Insulation Testing will be necessary if your build is:
- 2 or more new build dwellings/flats
- Conversion of former single dwelling into flats
- Residential builds such as hotel, hostel or nursing home
- A build that has designs not adhering to robust construction details
Carrying out airborne and impact testing procedures, our qualified ANC accredited Engineers will determine the number of tests you need based on the layout of your build; how many dwellings you have and separating walls and floors.
Our service is carried out quickly and efficiently, that does not impact on your building schedule or onsite contractors.
As well as the type of testing you will require, our Engineer will determine the number of tests you need, in line with Approved Document E regulations. Pre-completion sound testing incorporates the difference in performance standards based on the type of development the build is and/or should Building Control have specific requirements relating to your build. All such sound insulation requirement testing can be carried out by us.
